Why Doesn't Windows Have Internal Antivirus Protection?
At Least The Blue Screen of Death was decisive.I woke up today in a great mood, ready to hit the ground running and get in 8-10 hours of writing. However, now that it is the late afternoon and I can finally use my computer again after hours of tinkering with spyware programs, virus software and internet settings to overcome the 21-car pileup that greeted me when I turned my computer on this morning, there is a lot less wind in my sails. I run both an anti-Spyware program and an anti-viral program, both of which I had to purchase through a third party. Yet these programs function far enough away from the central aspects of my operating system that I'm constantly having to peel away the bugs that splatters on my windshield as I drive on the information superhighway.
